My Capristo sound 1 is louder than my sound 3, why?

    Simply memory. Well, actually with the Cap 3, I could hear the turn signal clicker on the dash. With the Cap 1, I can't so that reference would mean that the Cap 1 is actually louder

    My Capristo was a "sound 2". Overall I think it was great and awesome at wide open throttle/high rpm.

    Ideally however it would be louder on primary. There was a huge sound difference when the bypass opened. So in my opinion, rather quiet on the primary path.

    This has been hard for me to achieve with my fabricated muffler as well. Significantly reducing primary baffling resulted in it still being a -bit- quiet on the primary side. (So I used my adjustable stop on the bypass valve to open it at rest a bit)

    Install stock cats and now the Cap1 I would say is about as loud as my Cap3 with Fabspeed cats. I can now hear the turn signal clicking at a stop light.
    Gonna give Capristo a call tomorrow and ask wtf is my Cap1 so loud.

    I think I'll leave stock on my 2.7. isn't the 2.7 already nice enough with the valve open ?

    My 2.7 with cap3, fabspeed cat delete and fabspeed headers is definitely quieter. I'll grab readings tomorrow.

    2.7’s with Capristo’s are generally quieter before bypass. If you swapped the Capristos between your 355’s, I’m sure you’ll get the same result or very close.
