That’s pretty impressive! He’s a bit like the Tiger Woods of F1 in terms of dominance. Not the most race wins/pole positions, but just about everything else. Like Tiger not having the most Grand Slam wins, but just about everything else.

It's not on there, not only did he have the highest percentage win in a season (the more races there are the harder this becomes), he managed this over 2 seasons combined as well. He holds a higher win rate over 2 seasons combined (2022/23) than the next highest race win %. The highest win rate was 75% (6 out of 8) and stood since 1952. Not only did Max demolish it to 86.4% (19/22) for 2023 but 2022/23 combined was an astonishing 77% (34/44)

MAX'S UNIQUE lift-and-coast technique by Mark Slade and Peter Windsor

Very interesting video how Max's lift and coast technique could be the reason why he extracts so much more performance from the car. The technique Max uses would basically allow RB to run the car a little bit lower than normal so that the plank doesn't wear excessively, and running a car lower energizes the floor a little bit more.

    It's the details...
