Hello: I have a 1970 Ghibli with dual electric fan motors. One is defective and needs to be replaced or rebuilt. Can anyone tell me if the fan motor and blade can be removed by bringing the assembly FORWARD off the shelf where they are secured and down in front of the radiator?

I'm trying NOT to have to remove the radiator which then allows me the space to remove it through the top of the car.

    Thank you,
    Frank in Florida

Problem solved. Didn't have to remove the radiator after all. The defective fan motor is out. By twisting and turning, and rotating the blades, the motor, with the fan still attached, came down and out through the lower front opening. Almost Japanese-like in how it was designed to be replaced.
I'll order a new motor tonight from eBay and be good to go.
