Actually my Ferrari only has one tit....me behind the wheel.

Yes I thought I'd get that in before any of you did.

Question prior to pulling my valve covers off. Do all 4 cams have a TDC mark? I use the TDC 1 exhaust to set up my timing, to hit TDC #1 and turn 90 degree for #5. Since I have such trouble with my idle I am hoping I am off a tooth for the other 3 cams just to have a reason for the terrible idle problems I have.

You start with TDC compression stroke on Cylinder 1.
While the crank is at that position, you line up all four cams so that the marks on the cams line up with the marks on the caps (all four, both banks).
You install the two belts. Tension the belts.
Technically you are done, You do not turn the crank 90 degrees to install the second belt.

That's for installing the distributors (not the cams, as Mitchell noted).

Yes 90 degree turn is for timing distributors. I have done the belt change a few times without the covers off. Both belts at the same time all marked with paint spots and a home made fixture to hold onto the lines up. I just do not trust my marks any more since they just repeat the previous location of the pulleys and that may explain some of the pop and stall and rev-up idle issues I have had. I really don't want to pull off the covers just to check but I don't see any other way to assure myself all the timing is spot on with out seeing the marks next to the cam caps. I guess it's time to dig in. I'll send pictures if there are any revelations. I am hoping I am off by a tooth or 2 and righting it makes the car ready for a running cold start-up + 24 hrs at LeMans as well as (real life) sitting traffic smooth idle at 600 RPM.

Maybe I'll check valve clearances/rise etc. while I'm in there.

    Thanks Howard

FWIW, the recommended idle speed is something like 950 rpm.
