Just took delivery of a 296 and turned on in the settings a box for auto lowering the passenger mirror when in reverse parking, however I cant seem to get the car to actually do it.

Does the right mirror button need to be selected to do this, or do I need to set the mirror position? Does anyone elses 296 have this function?

Set mirror to passenger adjustment, put car into reverse gear, adjust mirror down using controller, put car into park and leave mirror select on passenger side

I also just got a 296 about a month ago and have a similar question. Is there any way to get the driver side mirror to also auto lower?

I live in San Francisco so have a tighter garage and need to lower both mirrors to be sure I get in and out ok but unfortunately I've been needing to do the driver side manually. It would be great to be able to set both.

Left side panel has a button to rotate both mirrors inward. Use it all the time.

    Not in US
No as with most cars it only works on the passenger side

That's unfortunate. I have an Aston Martin that does it on both and it's such a nice, subtle feature. Would be simple to program in as well...

I use that too to rotate them in but was looking for one to lower viewing angel while in reverse to make sure I have the spacing right.
