it's practice and all that was lost was 2 minutes of Lando's time and a scuffed front wing. Wing replacement cost should be exempt from Mclaren's development cost, HOWEVER, the damage is so minor it should easily be fixed on site. If it was quali I would say bigger scope for a penalty to Charles if it impacted Lando's ability to set a lap time to go through next quali for example.
M. J. on X: "Here is a video showing why Lewis Hamilton got noted for a red flag infringement at Singapore FP3. Love Lewis but he's really making life difficult for himself with what will be a penalty. He was pushing full on after the red flag. Slam dunk for stewards. #FIA #F1 #Formula1 #LH44 https://t.co/XZ5gYiHHFl" / X Reason why Lewis is under investigation. Has he replaced the spade hes digging his hole with with a JCB?
We're 100 % sure this video isn't manipulated in any way? I have to ask since this is something I'd expect from the local karting arena - not from a guy who's spent almost 20 years in F1. Pure stupidity. If I didn't know better I'd say he's trying to sabotage himself
it was uploaded very shortly after so I'd be highly surprised if someone can edit it this quickly. I can go through the onboard shortly to confirm.
Its close with Max, Mercedes and Mclaren. Interesting Prac 3. Yuki needs to be moved on. All the ridiculous press about his resurgence is tossed so far. Not at all any better than Lawson at all. He is always been over rated.
I watched his onboard. It's not manipulated. This overpaid idiot just went full throttle during a red flag. WHAT. A. CLOWN.
One web site with the FP3 results tells that the Merc were on soft whereas the others in top five were on medium though. Anyway, the real situation will be known after the quali.
I see a Max/Norris or Oscar pole. Mercedes are in the mix but the weakest of the 3 overall. Not utterly predictable this one so far.
Yes that was what I saw. All prep for Qualy. I think this should be a fun qualy with things close as they are. Max is happier with the kerb riding of the RedBull less nervous.
That's the problem with the internet - one can never trust it... (same applies to the so-called IA, which sources information from the internet).
