Ferrari has tightened its path to VIP status with a new points-based system that demands far more than just buying a few halo cars.

Collectors must now purchase every new model directly from Ferrari, attend official events and track days, and commit to keeping their cars without negotiation.

The financial bar is staggering—between $25 and $40 million—but the payoff is access to ultra-exclusive models like the upcoming F80.

By restricting entry to just a fraction of the world’s wealthiest, Ferrari has ensured demand stays sky-high, with orders already filled through 2025 and a younger wave of buyers joining its elite circle.

I wonder about this "some" and if anyone can backup the posts by those some and also some of the other posts they make. I can't tell yet if insider knowledgable info or if more social click bait.

October 1st EVRYCars on Facebook posted it. They appear to focus on automotive "news" that brings alot of social attention, more performance based content.

There is also Ron McDaniel who reposted it yesterday on Facebook. I'm not sure his connection, I'm sure he's on FerrariChat, we have 43 friends in common Facebook. All his posts are Ferrari related and very "polished" marketing like or at least "social influencer" like. He says he's in Financial Services, so maybe he's just using his personal involvement to market his business.

I do not think there is anything new here, this apparent points system has allegedly been in place informally for years.

    If you know you know
Nothing new here, except the implication that it's now being forced on owners.
Each of the listed requirements, have been " tracked " for many years, if you attend or participate, SpA usually knows about it.
... unless you sneak in that is ... Does it help, yes.

    Service has the same thing,
    1. Did you buy the car from us
    2. Do you Service it with us
    3. How do you respond to surveys
    4. Are you a brand ambassador
    5. Are you a dealership advocate
    6. Are you a FCA member

None are forced, but depending on the answers, you have goodwill options available if it were needed, others not so much.

    S

    IMO only,
