I've got the front bumper off my 348 in the process of finally attending to my non-operational air conditioning, changing all the o-rings, new condenser, re-doing the fan wiring etc.
I've been looking at my bumper and specifically the lower lip at each outer end just in front of the wheel. Both sides have a pair of corroded self tapping threads poking out the top, but whatever was being held by them is missing from the underside.
I'm wondering if I'm missing part no. 62128100.... it looks like there is a recess in the underside of the bumper into which something maybe should be fitted?
But what does that part do and how does it fit?
Does anyone have a photo of the underside of the bumper just ahead of the front wheels so I can see what's missing off my car?

62128100 is the right part. Here's a photo of mine.

I replaced the original screws with stainless steel ones to prevent them from rusting again. I reccomend coating them with 2-pack epoxy or powder coating as the original plating is woefully inadequate.

Many thanks for that. Do they actually do anything? Do they help support the wheel arch liner or something?

They clip into the vented 1/4 panel to support the outer edge (see arrowed slot it fits into)

NB This is a pic before the clip was fitted back
