    Dear Admiral,
This makes sense. Thanks. Or why not 0556(restamped0446)/MD ? Anyway, I will remember this in the future races. Thanks again.
    Best regards
    Cyril

I do not use restamped as the chassis was never stamped anything other than 0446/MD, apparently the deal by Picard was made well in advance.
    Best regards,
    Robert

Post 2401. None of the photographs were taken at Castle Combe. Plus the lower is in fact John Bolster testing the HWM at Brands Hatch

First photo matches Redex Trophy grid:

    Abecassis HWM-Jaguar #7 (m/1955)
    Cunningham-Reid HWM-Jaguar #35 (m/1954)
    MacKay-Frazer Ferrari #19
    Salvadori DBS3 #25
    Rosier Ferrari #21
    Hamilton Jaguar D #1
    Loens Maserati #51
    Head Jaguar D #3

0520M only raced in there with #21, so that photo must be from Castle Combe too.

Last photo shows HWM-Jaguar m/1954, not the m/1955 raced by Abecassis in Castle Combe.
