It looks like he’s sitting in a lobby. There’s a wet floor sign, who appears to be a bellboy, a fountain, and an elevator in the background which is just odd.

Keeping Lando behind around Singapore, where you can't pass is one thing. Not making a mistake with all those issues and all that pressure for that many laps... that's impressive.

well, the whole team and it's entire identity. British team winning both titles with a British driver will always be a bigger hit.

It's the only link that makes sense. Maybe it's coincidence and poor timing (or on purpose to fuel engagement), but Zak's face lights up when Norris wins and seemingly always (until he notices the camera) he seems a bit bemused when it's Piastri ahead...

Norris is the only one this year that's benefitting of the Papaya rules. Pit stops, crashing into teammate, alternative better strategies (that he could only take AFTER Piastri executed his).

You either make it completely even or not at all...but you can't change your way halfway through the season, that beats the entire idea of being fair.

When Norrris had the opportunity to pass I absolutely loved what Max did...Point car ever so slightly to the right and start braking early whilst keeping wheel straight, but trajecting slightly towards Norris' line but still keeping a cars width. With the wall on the otherside that must've absolutely frightened Norris. Norris knows 1 more crash or indeed if he just went off there and had to turn around, would've been very expensive for his title hopes.

I remember that Piastri alluded once, after he joined the team, that in all fairness McLaren should race under a NewZealand licence, because that's where its founder came from. Maybe that did put a few people's nose out of joint, although it was said in jest.
Both Norris and Piastri are quality drivers, I would say, but even if the Brit has been longer in the team, to be fair he shouldn't be given preference, IMO. Someone mentioned that Zak Brown and Norris' father shared some commercial interests outside of F1. Maybe that's why Lando is more "integrated" in the team, and because of this benefits from more protection ?
Maybe Piastri getting ahead of Norris goes against the "master plan" at McLaren, but the help Norris receives is now very obvious. I like Piastri more and more, and I hope he wins the title. I deplore McLaren's effort to turn the table on him, and that increasingly fuels my resentment of Norris. It's totally illogical, I know.
Ron Dennis handled it better when he had Senna and Prost, IMO.

Translation: To confirm the info already received, Vasseur confirms that from the second lap there were overheating problems with the brakes during the race. Unheard of that a team of the caliber of the Cavallino Rampante is the only one to face issues of this kind.

Well then I'm not at all surprised that the brakes failed on Hamilton's car. What was the logic behind fitting a set of softs and then setting of on a run of Banzai laps when they know they have brake issues? How much dumber can this team get?

This makes no sense. they literally made Lando give up pole position last year to put Oscar in front. Lando made a racing move on the inside and took the lead over Oscar. Oscar had the entire race to catch up and could not.

And people seem to overlook the fact that the stewards didn’t consider it an infraction. I guess they’re secretly working on NOR’s behalf, too…..
