The daughter wanted to go down to Guyra but I said no and was glad when the New England was closed in 3 places between Guyra and our place with about 100 cars stuck. Just made do with a short, heavy, fall of snow at home!

The bra really accentuates the attractive 996 headlights...

    What were they thinking?

Thanks for the feedback. I am familiar with how a forum functions but also like to give a certain amount of intellectual credit to the reader's ability to follow a discussion without needing it served up to them like, say, a fried egg. ;)

I was referring to the oversized headlights, which have aged terribly as a styling "feature". They are less obvious on a silver or grey car, but really jumped out at me in your picture with the bra fitted. But nobody buys a 911 for style - they're a triumph of function over glamour.

Sigh, I realise I have a lifetime to look forward to of you calling my Daytona a chopper and mocking one event with trackwrap on the nose. However I have no regrets about owning that car, it was a beautiful object :)

Bah! “Chopper” originated out of jealousy IMO.

We’re all just waiting for you to grow out of your Billy Bobby phase and buy another Ferrari V12 :)

I realised today that I've had the Vette for 9 years, which is the longest I've had any hobby car. I'm not remotely tired of it, the steering is heavy and a bit vague (like a V12 Ferrari) but it handles, stops and goes hard, all with a Nascar sound track. Plus, women love it!

On GG we parked outside the Armidale Toyota dealer because a Yaris had broken down (WTF). Several staff came out to look at the cars. A not unattractive lady said "whoever drives the Corvette can take me home"

    And yes, there were witnesses!
