Lifelong Porsche guy considering GTS for 50th bday

for your 50 birthday ....a new car ,a new watch , a new wife also ?

 

I’m 6 years older and had my first F at 35 but had 26 new Porsches in my life (4 at this time). I asked my stealer for a GT3 Touring allocation. Was told 100 over so that was 400. I got a 548 miles 469k sticker for low 3s and it’s my best car ever. Get a gently used one and enjoy. It takes a little bit to learn everything but it’s so worth it. NOTHING COMES CLOSE for the $. I have a 24 Targa GTS and Spyder so didn’t need a convertible but you cannot go wrong, I put 600 miles in a week. I’m going to put 100,000 miles on it

 

Having owned a 992.1 GT3 and a Pista at the same time, id bet you have a hard time reaching for the GT3 keys over the 296 keys whenever you’re going out for a drive. And I LOVED my GT3. Have nothing negative to say about that car. I intend to own one again at some point.

 

Have a 296 GTS on order, but keeping my 997 GT3RS ;-)

 

Horses for courses… do you track the RS a lot?

 

No it's just a Sunday car. I track a 981 Clubsport

 

Congrats on 50th! Ferrari is big step up from the Porsche brand. Go for it.
