Very pretty, but sure looks like bad flying weather.

Just picked this up last April. Learning warbird flying has been really fun. Great community, love to buy a P-51 in the next two or three years if I get good at this one.

I've heard that T-6s are notorious ground loopers. And that if you can master the T-6, then you can pretty-much handle any of the big taildragger fighters. Is that true?

Yeah that’s what they tell me. I’ve been flying 50 years and I’ll have to say this airplane is one of the more daunting ones to learn to fly well but I love it.

The T-6 is the gateway drug to all the tailwheel warbirds. Typically the first requirement for insurance on any of the piston fighters is 100 hours of T-6 time.
