Is there a tpms system build into 488 challenge evo?

my wheels all have sensors but I don’t see anywhere on the display screens that shows tire pressure.

I’d like to have real time tire pressure.

If this is not a built in feature is there a good after market/ad on solution?

Will these work with extra sets of wheels?

There is a way to add that capability but I don't have the details. Try contacting one of the race shpport teams, your dealership should have access to a couple.

There was a upgrade kit available for the 488 Challenge cars

    The upgrade kit consisted of:

    · TPMS ECU

    · 4 TPMS antennas

    · 4 TPMS antenna brackets

    · Rear TPMS loom

    · Front TPMS loom

    · TPMS ECU main loom

    · Wheel TPMS sensors

There was no enabling involved you just fitted all of the above, and with a separate TPMS download lead you uploaded the wheel TPMS sensors permit list into the ECU, then it would appear on your dash and rear-view camera screen.

If you require any more help on this, please don't hesitate to ask as I have fitted 25 plus TPMS systems to 488 challenge cars

    Jason,
Thanks. Are any of those components readily visible? Perhaps the antennas? So we know what to look for.
While there are sensors in the wheels I suppose it’s possible a set of wheels got transferred from another car.

This should help you tell if your car has the TPMS system fitted

The car did have the system and we got it working although several wheel sensors aren’t working between all the sets. Are they the standard 488 sensors or different for challenge?

They are different and they need a permit to be loaded into your car. From Ferrari they are $727 per sensor.
I do have a much better solution if you would be interested.

What do you mean a permit? Maybe that’s the only issue with the sensors that aren’t registering?

The way the system works is each sensor has a number attached to it, without the computer file to upload into the car they will not work.
