I have not owned one before, but I'm up to 6 automatic watches (all pretty inexpensive so definately not a baller...LOL) so getting tired of resetting the time/date every day.

So are they good to have? Are they generally reliable? Thinking of a cheap 8 position winder off Amazon (kids looking for Christmas suggestions)

Are there any types of watches you wouldn't put in a winder? Two of my watches are Seikos from the 1960s, and my only Rolex from the early 90s....are they too old to be exercised in a winder every day?

    Thanks
