Anyone else get the Carbon spoiler installed? I'm curious how hard of an install it is.

Wouldn't do it myself, but wondering if I could get someone to come to me, or if I have to take it to a shop.

Does anyone know if the two part spoiler parts are the same closest to the rear engine cover?

Meaning - does the AF and non-AF style spoiler section that move have the same profile. The part that has the Ferrari script in the center.

I have a Nero Daytona non-AF car and want to keep that portion body color while just adding the rear most fixed part of the spoiler with the higher profile in CF.

My guess is yes, I have a carbon fiber af spoiler
(both parts) arriving in a couple weeks and can let you know.

Anyone know how to install the thing? I can’t find anything online how to access the fasteners to either part. My assumption is through the wheel wells but I can’t find any info.

Price is dependent on quality and place. You can get them from China or Japan for pretty cheap, probably about $1k, or you can get them from more reputable places in the $3k-5k range. From Ferrari itself? I would guess around $8k-10k, but that's a complete guess.

For the record, I saw one of the Chinese ones in person the other day on a local car...it is OEM quality and the guy paid 1400 bucks for it on eBay he said.

From what I understand the issues with them are not usually the quality of the carbon, it's the fitment.

He didn’t mention any fitment issues. A local shop installed it for him though.

Hello all I am new to the forum and Ferrari ownership. I recently bough a non AF sf90...roads in london full of speed humps are not compatible with a non lift car! I do much prefer the look of the ducktail AF spoiler, however, i want to try something different. I want to paint it body colour. to that end I am super interested in the cheaper chinese version, however the fit concerns are a worry as I plan to keep the ferrari moving part. It seems a shame to paint a novitec one! does anyone have an pictures of the cheaper chinese one on a car? I suspect they are all made by just one company. Thank you all

If you look on ebay you can see some pictures, but of course that's them advertising their own, so maybe not the best proof.

I would guess if you tell them that you want it paint matched, they would make it for you. I beleive it would also be cheaper since it doesn't need to be carbon.

Yes my concern is that those advertising pics are not pictures of thier own parts...rather the novitec or OEM....I have emailed novitec to see if they have any they have rejected due to weave distortion or inclusions...as that would be perfect...Will keep the thread updated.

I don't know if I would worry that much about fitment. I bought some carbon parts for both the f8 and the sf90. Each from different groups, but both were very reputable. Both times there was at least one piece that had to be sanded or adjusted to fit. The installers seem used to this with carbon aftermarket pieces for all makes.

I was assuming the Novitec fit would be as good as OEM? So I could get it painted before I fit it...sounds like whatever I get I will need to fit it, adjust...remove and paint...a pain but will be worth it ...im leaning towards the novitec one...costs more but I think less risk...unless someone here has direct experience of the SK Racing offering...which is a quarter the price...but on a car like this it needs to be just right...I think

I got mine from https://myricambi.com/, no problem with fitment of the spoiler. Mine was custom made in matte carbon fiber, which makes me feel it could arrive paint matched if wanted.

Thank you, I have emailed them as I could not see the spoiler on the website. Would it be possible for you to share some pictures of the spoiler please...did you buy the duck tail and the moving spoiler or just duck tail? Thank you for taking the time to help.

Bought both, I will say it took forever to get, but I am pretty sure it's because it was matte carbon. From what I understand they had gloss carbon in stock.
