Ferrari is fundamentally a different company since going public and dropping Pininfarina. Make twice as many cars. The styling is just not good. I know many try and say it will grow on you/ see it in person but, it won’t. I saw the 12 cilindri in person and ran for the trash can. Did anyone see the 360, 430, 458, F-12 get unveiled and say…yuk, that’s awful. Of course not. Look at the new models. F-80, 12 cilindri, Testarossa, Roma…Partnering with Samsung to make displays…YGBSM. These are supposed to be low production hand built cars. That welding photo from page 2 was atrocious. What happened to Veglia Borletti or another boutique Italian company making actual instruments…at least the Tac. These new cars you feel like it asks you “press 1 for a Ferrari tac, press 2 for a Lamborghini tac, press 3 for Honda”… hybrids, EV’s, 6 cylinders, fake sound for the EV’s…Performance of the new cars is incredible but that is not the reason most buy these cars. Heck an entry level 40k Tesla model 3 will out accelerate most of the new Ferrari’s. I love Ferrari. I own 2 and will get an F-8 spider in a couple years. I agree with those that say the market will speak and force a correction. The prices are just ludicrous. Current leadership has exploited a brand that took 70 years to build and are squeezing every last dollar out of that they can. Simply, they are losing their way and the passion along with it. I hope it corrects. When there is a market downturn, the wealth affect loss will really hurt the secondary market. People are not realizing what is propping up this Ferrari market. It is in bubble territory. That will then trickle up to the new cars when folks see how much money they will lose. As mentioned, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche are all filling this vacuum and seizing the opportunity.

I’m sure if Ferrari could get away with it they would charge for every screen background you decide to try- yellow tach, red etc. They no longer nickel and dime you for every option- they are $1K and $10K…ing you for everything. The base cars are decontented to force people to spend upwards of $100-200K in options(and that’s not including Tailor Made) which other luxury brands include in the price and offer a limited number of packages. And yes I know multiple people will states” oh, it’s a customized car…yada, yada, yada” Well then why not only offer Atelier or TM cars only for these exorbitant prices.
The market will eventually tell us what it thinks of these fast but not fastest, edgy but atrocious looking cars. Emotions indeed.
