1994 512TR. Right rear axle/bearing was making noise. Ordered new axle from TRutlands. Got a TR axle, not 512TR. It went back and correct unit ordered from Italy. I got it yesterday and it IS correct for 512TR but it does not have the ABS gear on the wheel end of the shaft (ABS new in 1994).
Question: can the ABS gear be removed from my old shaft and installed on the new unit? It appears to be pressed on. Real tight. I don't want to apply excessive force until I get some more info. Anyone deal with this before?
    Thanks.

you may warm the ABS ring and it will fall off and then in warm condition shrink it on the new shaft. same as the starter ring gear on the flywheel. but have a look if there would be also a small screw at the ring

That is a standard bearing remover, easy available. Used on hydraulic press or threaded for bearing puller.

As far as I am concerned, that bearing remover was pure magic. I don't have one. Do you? At least now I know where one is if I ever need it again.
