Stuff you want to assemble costs huge amount of money and you don't know exactly how many things you have to buy or change.

With rescue cars like these, you usually need to know the cars in and out to make it work. Helps to have another one in the garage for comparison.

If you're asking the internet community to help you get a car running.. you're not in a good place. I recently bought a little 996 that had been sitting for years like this car.. with a leak in the rear sunroof drain. I only asked the seller "does it run". My project is working great because I know the 996/986 platform so well that I have spare parts in the garage and can do all the work myself. If you don't know the electrical systems sell it. Sorry bro.

 

RHD cars can be tricky because you don’t know which wiring harnesses have been reversed/mirrored compared to the standard LHD workshop manuals.

The orange plug is a toggle switch plug which may or may not be used on your car. Later model Ferraris have a lot of standard wiring harnesses for ease of manufacture, so there can be a lot of unused plugs. e.g. 6 speed manual connectors on an F1 car. Can you post a picture of the switch panel to the right of the steering wheel?

The 3 plugs in the second photo look like Window ECU plugs, but I’m not sure where the ECU is on RHD cars.

You may have to list the wire colours (including stripes) for the other plugs to help us with identification. Or some closeup photos.

If you’re in it for profit, I can’t say you will make one. Was the car actually sitting in a waterproof and temperature controlled “barn”. The engine not turning doesn’t sound good. That sounds like a priority. Do you have a boroscope to look inside the cylinders? Are there any signs of flood damage?

Everything is fixable with time and money.

 

Depending what you paid for it- consider taking bits and sell the parts, as some parts worth a lot. Engine and gear box worth a lot of money

 

I’m not sure what I’m looking at in the 3rd photo. Is that broken wire or small connector.

Excellent. Then it may just be the absence of the F1 TCU preventing cranking. That provides a cranking signal. You can bypass the F1 TCU with a jumper wire on a certain plug, but make sure the back wheels are off the ground if you’re not sure if the gearbox is in neutral.

 

You may need a good OBD2 scanner once you have all the missing parts fitted. @flash32 may have some good suggestions.

Maybe some shots of the boxes and wiring behind the seats will help us. I assume you have a good battery and that you’ve electrically checked all the fuses with an ohmmeter (including those near the battery and in the frunk).
