    Hi,
    I'm having a problem locating the port. I've looked to the left of the steering column under the dash, but can't see it. Is it behind any trim panels? Any help would be appreciated.

    What model car? On 458 and 488 it’s right of the steering column on US cars. You don’t have to remove anything to access it.

    It is located to the right side of the steering column about 7-8 in forward of lower edge of the dash panel,You can feel the angular edge of it fairly easily.
