    Hi all,

I took delivery of a 2014 Speciale about 1,5 months ago and so far love it. I only have one question, it seems that the engine is at operating temprature (oil at 80-90 degrees celsius) within 2-3 miles after take off (and a few mins manouvering out of the garage, I don’t specifically let the car idle to warm up). Can the car then also safely driven hard or is additional warming up required for the gearbox, diff, etc?

I’m quite obsessed about properly warming up my cars and with most (BMW M5 really taking long, E30 M3 also quite long, 550 Maranello already much quicker but still 7-8 miles) it takes 10-15 miles before the oil temp is near 80-90 degrees so it is a nice suprise to see that the Speciale is so much faster warmed up so that she can be driven like she is meant to be, but want to make sure I don’t miss anything.

    Thanks a lot!

Drive in Auto until its warm up then go manual.

However since it a second hand car you have no idea how the previous owner drove the car.
