Have you checked the cables below the switches? If they are not connected to lever, they will not work.

The connectors were all the way "home".

I can hear the servo of the heat setting working, but the air direction setting is inoperative.

How does the rear screen defroster work? I don't see any filaments in the rear window glass.

    Good day,

Your pictures indicate an older style of electronic assembly (through-hole) with relatively standard off the shelf parts being used... and so understanding how the circuit functions would be very straightforward for any electronic repair shop to understand and repair. All of the parts are still available, including the LED style... which is not as common as it once was.

As mentioned, contact a local electronic repair shop for assistance. Identifying the external wiring connections and where they go will greatly assist those tasked with the repair.

If you are not in a hurry, you could send the item to me (Canada) and I could sort it out, but would not have any time until Jan/Fed.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Have you tried spraying a generous amoint of de-oxit on all the switches as well as the potentiometers. These are usually the first to fail followed by the capacitors.

    I sprayed a lot of WD40...no change.

Contact cleaners (such as Deoxit) are much more effective than wd40.

In any case such product is always usefull in a vintage ferrari (corroded light bulb sockets, stuborn connectors, faulty ground, light switches, etc).
