These wheels would fit an unflared 246GT? I generally prefer more sidewall as the roads near me can be quite bumpy but it would be nice to throw some sticky 16" on for certain applications.

Yes, they will fit. Tires are 205/55R16 & 225/50R16.

Here’s some added images of Dinos on 16” Cromodora style wheels. You can also see the suspension is lowered slightly for a great stance.

Just my opinion (like everybody, I'm entitled to one), when you look at a car and your eyes are drawn directly to the wheels (or tires), that's not a good look.

Somewhat to my surprise, they look better than I feared that they would. I think I still prefer the originals. Aesthetically I would find 16" acceptable in pursuit of improved grip, but I am not sure I would want that - it would change the character of the car (the same reasons I keep my E-type on 5" wide wheels and 80 profile tires - I know I could improve it, but I don't want to do so, because then it would not be the car Jaguar built).

I like it because it’s a simple bolt on bolt off. Definitely creates polarizing opinions! AFAIK the 308 chassis/suspension was very similar in spec to the 246 or?

I think it is really relative to taste, one day it is steak with a fine Cab., next day, Costco for $1.50 hot dog

Anytime I get to drive my Dino it’s special! Rob Calisi came over this evening and we took my Dino out for a fun run. I’m a grassroots owner still enjoying every minute of Dino ownership!
