Looks like Blu Medio leather there, very nice.
Reminds me of an early tailor made FF created with a 'Nautical' theme...

BTW, I don't know if you can see the name of the towing service on the door of the truck, it's Uncle Bucks Towing. When the woman from AAA told me the name of the service who was coming, I told her you know they are picking up a Ferrari. She said yes they know and they can do the job. I reluctantly said OK.

Well their driver, Mike, could not have been more professional. I had already attached the tow hook, but he was reluctant to use it since he has had them break loose. I had my own concerns because it didn't seem to screw in sufficiently. So Mike had me drive the car onto the flat bed truck. Since he had to drive it off, I spent sometime with him with how to operate the car. When he delivered the car to Ferrari of Washington, he texted me pictures of the car in their parking lot and told me who he gave the key to inside the dealership.

Before he left with my car, I asked him who was Uncle Buck. He said no one. The owner was has huge fan of John Candy and named his towing service after his character in the movie. I could totally relate as a huge John Candy fan. If you ever need help in Hagerstown, MD, call Uncle Bucks Towing and ask for Mike!:)

My "new" (to me) 2007 599
This car was converted to gated transmission and although I've only owned for a few weeks, I'm in love..

While I'm not a big fan of YouTube celebrity, this cars previous owner has a pretty popular show called "Hoovies Garage".

I had never seen it prior to learning of it through my pre-purchase due diligence. It ended up helping me as much of the cars history was pretty well documented on his show, including the gated conversion done by EAG.

Car had a couple small gremlins to work out, but is well on the way to perfect!

Looks at home sitting next to my 458..

Very pretty. If there are any problems with the conversion, talk to Wil DeGroot, or Robin here on FChat.

My frustration was primarily with the seller. I put all the faith in the world in this guy, and trusted his info so much that I skipped a PPI and didn't even fly out to Connecticut to see the car before buying. Again, nothing too serious but far more ******** than you'd expect to see, from a car at this price point, you just bought from a respected (used "exotic" car) dealership. It was enough to make you question other things that may or may not have been taken care of properly.

Yes! Robin has been a FANTASTIC help. I was in a bit of a panic mode when reaching out to him, but he put my mind at ease immediately. Robin was able to walk me through a bunch of diagnostic work that I would have never been able to take care of on my own. It was nice to learn a bunch in the process as well. Just a wonderful 'car guy' helping out another 'car guy' and I was so fortunate to have gotten in touch with him. Within a couple of days and several emails back/forth, everything was sorted. Such a relief.

I had a concern that the gated action would not feel "correct" after reading about some problems others had with their conversions. I owned a (factory) gated 360 and knew what to expect.. and I can say with all confidence that this car's gated shifter is certainly (at least) as good as my 360. I LOVE driving this thing! The power is tremendous. The interior is so roomy and comfortable. It's such a nice addition sitting next to my 458. Quite a perfect pair. :)
