I was surprised the number wasnt stronger on this. The 16M and Speciale did well and I thought with the low miles and provenance, it would end up $400-$450. I know several European members have said that US prices are always stronger. This one was well bought, given it how strong the other two ended up.
Remember in Europe the prices will go up as soon the car is possible to import to US. Then all our US brothers will hunt the cars in Europe, I have seen this with 355s. So 25 years and older + tariffs then we have higher prices in Europe. So if anyone in Europe consider to buy CS or even great spec manual 360s now is the time. All the good cars with good spec will be sold to US buyers. And I remember 355s some US buyers bought the cars and paid the dealers to store the cars so when 25 years and older they could import them to US.
Valid comments certainly. The CS just has some catching up to do then because the 16m and Speciale got US prices in that auction and their age being newer. That being said, each car stands on it own merit for the market demand for reasons specific to that car and the market demand for those attributes
