Anyone who has taken apart the clutch slave on their Testarossa knows the seals ride back and forth on a steel flange that bolts to the clutch cover and fits around the shaft that takes power from the clutch.

Despite replacing the slave cylinder seals twice with OEM parts, my slave assembly still leaks. Has anyone experienced a worn flange? My car was apart for some time, so it is possible the steel flange corroded, or grit got on it somehow and scratched the finish, but can they just wear from age and use? Expensive little part....

Not sure if you used "Ferrari" seals on your rebuild or not. Hill Engineering has recently(ish) spec'd new versions of the seals specifically because the recent batch from Ferrari ones are known to be a weak point:

Thanks. Maybe I just use them - it could be a bad batch of oem seals. Alternatively, I am debating just going to a single plate conversion from them. Anyone have any experience with it?
