Guys break their bodies for our entertainment on a weekly basis in the NFL, to the point of irreparable brain and body damage. I’m sure many of you tune in for that, but a car being destroyed is too far?

Entertainment is entertainment. I’ve only seen a couple of WD videos, but I can see why people enjoy them as much as Jimmy or Bob enjoy some 22 year old crossing a painted white line with a ball.

 

People can be replaced!

Cars on the other hand … are special. Especially F-cars.

He needs to be restricted to wreck little economy cars only

 

The video(s) with the Kei truck and the jet engine were hilarious.

I love it. He seems like a super chill dude to be honest.

 

I get why people like it.

I hate it.

I hate that wrecking things instead of building things is what grabs eyeballs and makes money.

I'd rather see beautiful things made and created than destroyed.

I don't hate him. I understand why he does it.

I hate that this content takes away from people who build and fabricate beautiful things.

I think he is a nice guy but there are others in this similar space that are real *******s and monetize being an ******* and get RICH off of it.

It's not really their faults. So I don't blame them. It's an attention economy. They are doing what gets eyeballs.

But none of it is how I want to spend my time. I'd prefer to see people restore build fabricate or educate. But I get it..m I'm in the minority.

I just came in to mention there was luxury car demolition derby in '73 at the LA Coliseum prior to an Evel Kneivel jump. 'Million Dollar Demolition'. Mario, AJ and others who you would have hoped had more sense drove the cars. Bad taste has a precedent.
I haven't seen any of this guy's stuff...probably won't.
