Does anyone know if Unobtainium is still up and running or have their contact details changed? I have tried to reach out a few times for Christmas wish list without any luck!!
I saw on another thread on the 308 forum that Verell was not well, not sure of his status, just that he is not well. Other folks have been trying to get in touch with him too. Alden
I have met Verell many times. He is a great guy and a true asset to the global Ferrari community. he is unfortunately getting older, like us all. I hope he is doing well.
Thanks for the update, I hope Verell is on the mend and back to good health soon, agreed that he is a huge asset to the community.
My apologies for being unresponsive. I'm recovering from a 2+week battle with a vicious & miserable flu or cold (Wasn't COVID). I'm currently closed for Thanksgiving thru the weekend. I'll be back at work Monday 2 DEC. It'll take me awhile to respond to all the accumulated eMAIL. Unfortunately Unobtainium is a 1 person company so I can either make parts to fill orders, or deal with eMAIL. Currently I'm running almost 4 months behind on made to order items! I've had one health problem after another beginning last june! Nothing too serious, but kept me from feeling up to working.
Verell, no need to apologise your health is more important. Look after yourself and get better soon, the community would be lost without you! Have a happy Thanks Giving!
Hi Ron, Definitely could use some help. If you're still in/near Groton, maybe we could meet for lunch at Tinys in Ayer. eMAIL me: [email protected]
Has anyone heard from Verell lately? I placed an order for some antenna parts on 2/6/2024 and later received an invoice on 17/6/2024, which was paid immediately. Since then, I have contacted him several times via e-mail and PM without any response, nor have I received the parts that I ordered. I can understand not being able to ship orders if he's unwell, but I can see that he was last online four days ago, so I'm confused about the complete silence.
Hello, I remember seeing 1 or 2 of your messages when I cleaned out my SPAM folder. At the time I believed I had shipped your order & it was still enroute. I will look into it to see if it didn't ship, or (unlikely) was lost enroute. If for some reason I have to re-make the parts it will be about 2 weeks. I've been unable to cast parts since mid September due to equipment failure. I finally received the replacement unit & am installing it. Should be up & running in a couple of days.
