Well, without the oil pan, they all are Dino engines...:) and 206 :)

Correct, but an original 206 engine is hard to find, esp. with the corresponding gearbox

You are extremely right Volkmar :)

I would dare say that the gearbox with the mechanical oil pump, is oh so difficult to find

You can tell this is a Series one by the air cleaner. Has the external choke. That aircleaner, even in that condition, is worth at least $1500.

Its at 2600 now.Carbs, distributor, intake, exhaust manifold, radiator (unobtainium) etc...If it goes for less than $3500 its a steal.

Don't poo poo the Fiat Dino! :) Owners include Gordon Murray, Ian Tyrrell, Jim Glickenhaus, and me.

$15K. More or less, all of these engines end around that valuation. The buyer is an avid collector.

Best way to buy an engine: OPEN :)

Wow I'm shocked. I looked just before it ended and it was $3800. 15K seems a bit overpriced but I've seen someone try to sell just a set of carbs for $10K.
