    I only hope the original body hasn't been butchered yet and someone with enough balls, heart & financial wherewithal will acquire both and restore the poor car back to her original* configuration.
    I know it's a tall order, but one can hope.

    *Heck, there might be someone willing to buy the sad replica body to help off-set the cost of the restoration.

    Potentially, first you buy it, then it gets refused. Then what?

    I would not get involved with this car, unless you foremost like it. The rest, well.....it is anybody's guess.

    I imagine that’s how every fake art, fashion garment, Rolex, etc buyer/owner justifies their acquisition to themselves, i.e. “If I can just fool others to believe it’s real …”, …

    … until they get laughed at and ridiculed in public for being a poser/wannabe.
