...odd because it's on dealers sheet to spec. so I tried to sneak it in - denied. There are some Carbonio specs that used color carbon - very well done. VS is one the best visual balanced sports car in a long time - key is to not screw it up.
Everything is at the approval of Ferrari. I agree. This car is going to be fun to spec. It is very good looking. Reminds me of the Pista in that respect.
Is anyone here in the chat still waiting for a Speciale Aperta allocation or has received a rejection?
Probably shouldn't engage but I have a lot of experience with the car and the The Revuelto is loud, I have a valve on mine and it's plenty loud, louder than my NA V10 Performante.
Agreed, when I test drove it I was shocked how loud it was considering it came out at this time. I'd say around a nudge louder than a 2018 812SF (Though the valves were super annoying, it's very noticeable when they open and shut and it's always around the same RPM which makes for a wonky experience.) Wonder why Ferrari couldn't do the same sound-wise with the 12C
Maybe inside the car but for sure not from exhaust sound. Aventador louder as 812 Competizione and 812 Com. louder as Revuelto from exhaust.
Not to continue to derail this thread. But it’s possible you’re thinking about an Aventador with an aftermarket exhaust. The stock exhaust on my Aventador LP700 was quieter than my Revuelto because I did not have a valve controller. In fact it was quiet enough for me to install a QuickSilver exhaust to wake it up.
Does anybody have an idea or even a picture of the CIAD option (carbon air vent under windshield)? I have a regular 296 and need to finalize by VS spec soon, but don't understand what that option ist
This is the trunk area with carbon fiber. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJCyOO9sMsR/?img_index=6&igsh=MXdnYjRocmQzZGl2NQ==
Are you sure? I think the trunk in carbon is CIZB Carbon fibre front Luggage compartement area. The external air duct is NRCC. CIAD is part of the interior
Yes you are right, I think what you mean is the one on the dashboard right at the front under the windshield.
Basically the most useless option ever. It's the plastic part right before the windshield from the inside. I'll take a pic when I can.
Thanks for letting me know, what would I know since I own(ed) all three cars, SV Aventador sold, the other two currently in my garage.
Same, I had the factory race exhaust on my Aventador SV and only then it was louder than the Revuelto with a valve controller. But don’t worry about hands-on experience trusty St.R’s out there chasing cars on his bike with a decibel meter, so we’re in good hands.
It was offered during my Tailor Made appointment, I rejected it because I think it will cause reflections on the windscreen but unfortunately I do not have a part number for that option nor a photo.
