    ROFL. Toyota?

No, the harbinger is Geely and BYD my friend.

    70s all over again.

People here are still debating whether EVs should exist — meanwhile, they’re already taking over global market share.

    Ponti-who?

Same energy as people insisting CDs and Blu-rays were gonna outlast streaming. Jesus.

Serious question, @ferrari#7 — you really think EVs are a fad? That in 5–10 years the world’s gonna wake up and say, “You know what, this whole thing doesn’t make sense — we got fooled. Fire up the foundries, back to ICE forever, baby!”
And just to be clear — this isn’t about the environment. I don’t care about that argument.

If not, then maybe ask yourself — who’s actually getting bamboozled here?

At the end of the day, it comes down to two things: cost and reliability.
If you honestly think most of the world’s gonna keep choosing the more expensive, less reliable option… well, some folks still believe the world is flat.

Maybe this is just an enthusiast thing, like Vinyl — fine, I get that. That said, UMG presses the physical copies and syndicates to Spotify, so I still don’t get it. Wasn’t “choice” and “all of the above” supposed to be the best option? What is the Electra actually preventing you from acquiring?

I’m just an old man tired of another “purity” flex and cred signal — gotta post here to virtue-signal one’s OG bonafides. And let’s not kid ourselves, it’s really a proxy for other stuff going on…

    End of.

The share price is down because they forecast lower revenues.

Why do they forecast lower revenues? Because Ferrari are smart enough to know nobody will want their EVs.

    Duh.

Do you think they want to make them? No more than I want to buy one. Not a fad, but just an appliance. Nobody buys a $100,000 refrigerator.

Ferrari must limit EV and introduce less models less often. The sweet spot is limited production and screaming fast cars with V8 and V12 engines that have been tested over time and won the hearts and minds of the customers and Mr..Market. The all EV or hybrids are insanely complicated which is affecting the perceptions of the people who buy the vehicles and will weigh on Ferrari;s order books.
