    Hi all,

I’ve been driving various Ferraris for years, and one thing keeps surprising me, it’s the little, often-overlooked features that can completely change the driving experience.
For example, a tiny adjustment to the steering wheel rake in my 488 made long drives and track sessions far more comfortable without affecting feel. Or the way the track vs. road exhaust mode on my 296 changes the character of the engine sound, it’s subtle but addictive once you notice it.
Even something as simple as the gated shifter on older models can completely change how the car feels to drive.

I’m curious, what small Ferrari quirks or features have you discovered that genuinely improved your enjoyment or driving experience? Something that maybe most people overlook, but once you notice, you can’t imagine driving without it? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts and experiences!

The beeper that reminds me that I am in reverse. I’m so used to driving a backhoe and forklift, that I frequently forget I am in reverse. That feature alone makes me choose the Ferrari over any other car when going to town.

I like that the 296 sets off an alarm that ruptures your eardrums if you step out of the car with the key in your pocket and it’s running, as you need to open or close your garage.

Ok ok maybe not a Ferrari feature exactly as much as advice but I’ve been basically daily driving them for almost a decade, and one thing I tell friends is to just have some cleaning products and microfiber towels handy in case of spills, bird droppings, etc. I usually tuck them behind the seat and a tote of detailing supplies in the trunk. PPF or wrap makes the car super easy to clean with a duster and non-ammonia window spray or I like Chemical Guys or Griot’s ceramic detail sprays.

Since the GTS has only a small cubby space behind the seats I just got this $20 waterproof Champion tote bag at Target.
