    Anyone remember when we last had a three-horse race for the championship in the final stint? I want to say the last time was 2012 between Vettel, Alonso, and Hamilton? If Verstappen takes it, I think this will be his greatest championship.

    Of all the COTA trophies, this year's trophies are on point.

    If you notice the head of the longhorn trophies, it's the lay out of the track back-to-back.

    The trophies are clever, but every trophy should be a cup, in my opinion. Are the sprint trophies belt buckles? That's about the right amount of cheese and tackiness I would expect from an American Gran Prix, unfortunately.

    It's Texas which the trophies represent the state in all aspects.

    I bet you would have a problem if the race trophies were cowboy boots?

    I understand that they represent the state, and yes, I would think cowboy boot trophies are tacky as well. If there was a Grand Prix in New York, and the trophies were miniature hot dog carts, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, taxi cabs, apples, or a baseball bat, I would have problems with those too.

    My point is, why not have something classy like cups with longhorns engraved on them?

    Edit: Hell, they can make them the biggest cups of the season because everything is bigger in Texas, for all I care.

    I love the individuality of the trophies, except for Paul Ricard, and the ones that remain the same like Melbourne's trophies.

    Who thought it would be a good idea to have Danica Patrick do the pre-race? She isn't even valued or liked in Indycar or Nascar...

    I just got notified the pre-race show started!

    I still can’t believe the pre-race show is shorter than the race! They need to consult NFL!

    Sure. That’s all accurate and appropriate. However, this is a Formula 1 Grand Prix, and in this context I find it cheesy because it has nothing to do with motor racing.
