Only a couple of Huracans variants will be truly collectible IMO, Performante and STO On the subject of Ford, the GTD is getting alot of good press.
performante yes, and some of the later ones that had the regular bodystyling and the STO suspensions. The non STO shape is more pure and art, the sto is cool, but track bodge styling wise. Same reason an LP 400 periscopo is worth more than a late 5000s. To me GTD is just the latest sorta gotta have it car of the moment instant collectable, maybe future. In its favor is its going to be rare, and by all accounts a good car with real track underpinnings, gainst is it looks like a mustang and sooner or later there will be bodykits for regular mustangs to get the same look, which for most is what its about. However I well rm,ebr peopel saying a 2888 gto woudl never be worth a lot because it looked too much like a common 308, that's clearly not the case. Id say ont he GTD it depends if ford every few years comes up with something similar. In the end tough, just like some rare shelbys, 30-50 years from now the GTD is the ultimate mustang of the era and worth a lot because peopel love mustangs. .
We should have kept ours Ryan. It never broke, and was always ready to stun you with it's acceleration.
Are GTs half a million now? Most common spec and not low miles (from a collector perspective...).. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Depends on what you are looking for, seems like sub 1,000 mile cars in all colors (except gulf) are hovering around there. Without looking at the ad, this looks like an outlier on the high side. Good news, if you just want to drive the damn thing, have the best time ever, and save the diapers for your children you can buy one like mine for reasonably close to half of this one. I just wish I had more time on weekends to drive it more (stupid 9-5 job).
