    I’ve added a valentine 1 radar detector to many vehicles including my previous F a 2015 California T which conveniently had a switched 12V power wire as found on this forum in the rear view.

    I assume the assembly is the same as the regular Roma.. can anyone be so kind as to post the manual pages for the rearview mirror disassembly, and if available point out where that 12 V is so I don’t have to test 20 wires?

    I’ll try and take some pictures of the process if someone sends me those manual pages!

    For the Roma, the mirror wiring is pretty similar to the California T. The switched 12V is usually just one wire in the mirror harness, but Ferrari colours aren’t always consistent, so the safest way is to test with a multimeter while the ignition is on. You don’t have to probe all 20 wires, just look for the one that only shows 12V with the key on. Ground is usually brown/black. Removing the mirror cover and checking the connector is easiest. If someone can share the manual pages, it makes it even simpler, but a meter will get you there without guesswork.

    Yeah mostly want to properly take off plastic unit inside windshield. Finding wire easy ha preventing damage is harder
