Yubi or Google Titan Pin on the sim is great advice, few know how to, but my Verizon phones come with them enabled, but best to change from the default of 1111
Do not put anything in the cloud you cannot afford to lose, or cannot afford to have fall into enemy hands. I keep stuff on a second internal disk, an external HD, burned to a DVD, and also on a USB stick. Overkill? Maybe, unless you lose two of these. Once you backup to an external HD, ALWAYS disconnect it from your PC, ALWAYS. I had a power supply short out, it took out the Mobo, one internal HD and the VC. It didn't take out the second internal HD, thank God, I have a macro that copies stuff from HD1 to HD2... this was almost 20 years ago.
I think we are twin brothers. I'm writing a book, I'm on page 420, not done yet, I have backups everywhere. If I lose it I'm screwed, I could never rewrite it,
Fun watching all these cascade failures as businesses that use AWS that rely on other businesses that use AWS taking each other down or causing weird failures. Maybe Amazon can use Azure for failover.
I just took my mom to DFW airport and the access toll arms were taking 3-5 minutes to go up for each car.
I'm not surprised they don't have a plan for emergencies like this. I don't know...like leaving the arms up until the problem gets fixed?
