Per the Financial Times article this weekend, Ferrari supposedly significantly started to reduce supply starting six months ago to the UK.

Has anyone gone to a dealership, asked to purchase a regular production run vehicle and been told, sorry that's going to be very difficult to get you? That's not the impression I'm hearing.

    Any thoughts?

Well, if supply and demand are both down then things won't look very different to a potential customer. You would need to ask a friendly dealer if their allocation has been cut. I suspect it has and I suspect demand is down as well.

That's a good point. And maybe they need to cut supply more as I don't see prices firming in the pre-owned market. I can't imagine how low prices would be if they had not cut supply.

It would make sense and probably the smartest move in the car market I’ve heard of.

In response to post #3 surely any cut in supply will take a while to filter through - I seem to recall reading the first trim in registrations was only from about 980 to 940 new cars and it will take some time before these cars trickle through to the used market (excluding cars that go straight to resellers)

Let's hope so, with Ferrari Approved 296 GTBs asking under £200k in some instances, residual values could use some support.
