Fuel Accumulator Leak -- Sealant?

    Just got done swapping out the incredible piece of crap that was the Evil Energy pump for a Bosch pump.

    Got everything connected and I'm getting a small leak from the damn main fuel line that attaches to the accumulator.

    NOT the part with the crossover pipe, which is what I have had issues in the past with.

    No this is just a straight line fitting and it's leaking.

    I noticed on the threads there appeared to be some kind of white residue. I'm guessing that was sealant but I'm not 100 percent which is why I'm posting here.

    If it is indeed fine to put sealant on the threads, which do you guys recommend?

    I was going to go with the "3 bond 1211" sealant.

    But figured I'd ask here first
