My spider is either at the NJ port already or should arrive any day. Way ahead of my XX ordered a year earlier and just hit 90 status.

 

Will your Spider have the steering wheel change or did it leave too early?

 

Good question. I’ll have to wait until it arrives…

 

I hope so….my coupe just went into production and I have a PS, GTS and the coupe all at various stages of production and I am praying to the car gods that all three have them!

 

You should be ok - my 296 GTS was in production in July, just saw it yesterday at the dealer and it had the upgraded steering wheel - the haptic area to scroll through the screens are buttons. No physical start button, though.

 

Thanks for sharing. That is interesting though. I feel like there are three versions. Full haptic, one that is still haptic like but has indentation’s to “feel” more like buttons and a third that had true buttons including a physical start button. I was hoping we could upgrade to the full button or that it would become the new standard. I could also be totally miss reading the options.

 

Saw my first USA 12 spider. Dripping off my F8 spider for service there was a new metallic green (Toscana ) with painted shields and matching green carbon fiber exterior trim.

The visibility and extent of plastic exterior trim is pretty significant . Not choosing painted or CF really makes the car look well, um, ‘scadente’.

Even with all the expensive options, I felt under-whelmed. The Toscana color did make the black trim feather at the rear less odd looking. For me this was a design misadventure.
