I have yet to see an installer use a single sheet of PPF across the hood of the 12 Cilindri. It's such a huge area that it generally requires more than one piece to properly apply the film. This means you're going to have a seam line somewhere; the key is how good the installer is at placement and concealing that line as best as possible.

on my daily drive there is a stretch of road which often has sand and if there is a wind blowing I have learned the hard way to slow down. Otherwise your car will get sand blown damages, both paint and windshield.

So if one drives with this threat maybe do films to protect the windshield.

understand you dont live with this threat.

Does having this film add to re sale value?

Well, here in Germany you are collecting chippings by cars or trucks on other lanes at high speed on the Autobahn (no speed limit areas, go as fast as you can).
Protecting windshield or lights with films is not allowed by law.

anyone has experience with ppf but total colour change? (not for the 12c though).

i recently acquired a red car and looking to wrap with a darker colour, prob a nero.

all my cars are done with clear ppf and had no issues. but for a colour. my concern is if after the process, it looks like a cheap wrap.

So this is a question for anyone who has take delivery of a 12Cilindri already.

Have you noticed any areas that are prone to stone chips or need special attention? For example, in some cars the front tires "kick" small stones towards the back and the panel around the rear wheel arches ends up getting chipped ...
Do we know if this is the case with the 12Cilindri?
I assume that the parts the factory keeps covered during road tests are mostly prone to scratches ...

After doing the hood in 3 parts and being not satisfied seeing lines, my installer succeeded to make it in one part. He ordered the extra wide Xpel and adjust it manually without precut.
    result is awesome finally
