Eh, I would rather have 67 different cups than stuff that looks like it came out of a thrift store. At least the Hungarian trophies were in the shape of trophies. I did say that the Austin one is clever.

The Haas team gets treated differently and have been for years. Front wing damage for them, they get a black and orange flag or a penalty. Front wing damage for Lando or any other popular driver...no issues.

I hate the broadcast. It's clear that the producers have no racing experience and don't get it. They used the wrong angles a number of times on the limited passes. They show data that doesn't really tell you much - speed going in a straight line - wow, yipee. They don't use the in helmet view enough. They never have split screens of the two drivers who might be fighting. I will never understand why they don't include track level camera work without the steady cams to show how fast these cars are and the change of direction. When you see it at that angle, it is shocking. The steady cam operators are sooooo good that they actually mask the violence of these cars. Just so many missed opportunities.

I was trying to go, but one Bad Omen had me watch it from close to home...it's gotten VERY expensive in person.

It was hard to get a screen in Houston but they obliged with a couple!!!

First timein a long time I was not tracksaide, but youe see more of the racer On Screen. The PSL seats with both are the best. I did hear some folks with tckets gift them awat rather than make the effort and expsnse.

    IMO still "worth it"..
Next year, and glad the contract was renewed.
    Track facilitoes need some re-investment.

A General Admission "sit somewhere in the grass" for Sunday was $280 as I understand it.

COTA has also changed Security Vendors and while I had no problems at WEC LeMans, they were pretty heavy handed.

OTOH when my date that day arrived I bought GA Passes and no one ever scanned them!
But the F1 Security environment was (is) "another level"....

Funny how being a nobody driver ignoring team orders, will get you to say this lol:

Alpine has now seemingly reprimanded its driver for his on-track behaviour.

“The team situation on Sunday has been discussed internally and it is clear that instructions by the team must always be followed no matter what,” Colapinto is quoted as saying in Alpine’s Mexico City Grand Prix preview.

“We are all together, and we are all working towards the same goal to keep getting better with each session and each race weekend.”
