Thought I'd pulse the community to see what options are out there. I used my CCMs on the track alot and pretty much spent them in half the time as expected. Now I've got to replace my front CCM rotors (and rears aren't that far behind). I'm looking at ReBrake to have them resurfaced for about $5000 including shipping.

I've also seen a complete CCM Front/Rear set on eBay for $5800. The donor car (reportedly) had 36K miles on it. I asked for the weight of the fronts, and with the hats they're 5300g.

Does anyone know the minimum weight spec on front (and rear) CCM discs?

My F430 has 55K miles on it, so a used set with 36K would be completely fine. I'm just weary about the weight.

Any other non-OEM or resurfacing options out there?

Thoughts on going steel for track use? I think that’s what a lot of people end up doing just to save from wearing through carbons. I think Giro Disc makes replacements that fit right in.

I'd be curious to know if anyone has done reBrake reconditioning. I don't track my 430, but in the future, when I need rotors, it would be nice to have options, and I am not going to steel because I like the lack of brake dust.
