    I know that wobbly 430 tail lights are a characteristic of the car. Also I know the plastic bits break because of vibrations. I’ve repaired mine a couple of times.

    I was wondering if anyone had taken out the tail light and put rubber washers on each of the three threads, and then reinstalled the light and put another rubber washer on the other side followed by a metal washer and nut.

    I was thinking this may help with the vibration although I was wondering if the two rubber washes would make the tail lights wobble even more because you can’t fasten them down tightly.

    I don’t want to drive my 430 with four red wobbling mammary glands at the back!

    I recall that somebody makes a solution. Have you checked with Hill Engineering?

    I've done exactly what you described. I put one o-ring in the front and one o-ring in the back, and cinched the nut down until the lens was snug but had a bit of compliance to it. It's not wobbly at all, but still feels like it has some vibration damping to it. Give it a try!

    I tried the rubber washers in addition to using a repair kit I found on eBay. The taillights were firmly in place up until I sold the car and hopefully way after that.
