Yamamoto pitches a gem going 9 innings. LA up on the Brewers 2-0 and coming home.

The Dodgers have figured out a solution to their weak bullpen -- just don't use them.

LA starting pitching still proving dominate. Up 3-0 on the Brewers. I have to give credit to Dave Roberts. He seems more in command this year and making the right decisions about the pitching staff -- some of them pretty bold.

Toronto still has some fight left in them. Looks like it could be a great series going down to the wire.

I have seen a lot of Dodger games over the last 30+ years. I have never seen a ball hit over the center field pavilion. If you watch Ohtani all season, you get an understanding of just how great he really is. And its impossible for me to believe that the Angels had him and Mike Trout and did nothing with them.

  6. What Shohei did tonight should not be humanly possible.

He not only embarrassed MLB pitching (3 for 3, with 3 HRs, and a walk), and then turned around and embarrassed MLB hitters by striking out 10 in 6.1 shutout innings in the same game.

    Who the hell does that??

He is also the first pitcher in all of baseball history to lead off with a home run.

I think we saw the greatest individual player performance in playoff history. I'm not sure if it will ever be repeated again.

    L.A. Toronto.

It’s a shame there can be only one loser.

The ratings should be pretty good. All of Canada is excited about the Blue Jays and the Dodgers draw really well. Ohtani's last performance has everyone curious about watching one of best play in his prime.

How did he do in the prior 12~ games?
Wasn't he something like 2-25 at the plate?

'They say' Toronto will win it - they have scored well over twice as many runs as the Dodgers in the post-season.

Pray the Dodgers have a bullpen now, and use it correctly.

    Me?

I don't give a crap who wins, I just want to see some good games, and not a 4-0 sweep.

what's the TV deal for MLB in Canada? SportsNet? or is it streaming. can't imagine it's a particularly popular sport outside Toronto (?)

I don't even care much for baseball but as a sports fan I'll watch almost anything in playoffs.

The city is buzzing and that makes me smile.

Good luck to both teams and lets have some good games.

If Toronto wins it all, I hope they don't celebrate with a riot, like the last time a Toronto team (the Raptors?) won a championship.
