    Hi and welcome to my thread, I will try update as fast as possible my journey with restoration of my 550 Maranello.

    The story og this car is somewhat complicated but let me try explaining. So this car is VIN: ZFFZR49B000111954

    But in 2003/4 there was another 550 Maranello with VIN: ZFFZR49B000123392

    both cars loaded with options, the last car crashed and the owner of my car owned that car also and transferred all the interior of that car on my car + painted my car the same color of that car.....

    My car VIN: ZFFZR49B000111954 have also a lot of great options like Fiorano Handling Package, carbon racing seats in large + color in Grigio Titanio.

    But the other car had even roll bar + fire extinguisher + carbon interior and diamond headliner and rear shelf.
    In 2004 the same owner installed some Koenig wing on the car... yeah that I have taken off.

    So my plan for the car is the following:
    - Take away wing - already done this.
    - Install OEM interior in Bodeaux with large racing seats and get the interior retrim new leather from Connolly by Zanasi (Ferrari).
    - Full restoration of EVERYTHING mechanically.
    - Bare metall respray to OEM color, Grigio Titanio.
    - Install 550 headlights

    I will keep the carbon interior + roll bar + fire extinguisher + the diamond headliner + rear shelf will get retrim to Bordeaux Connolly leather by Zanasi.

    The car have driven A LOT, but that does not scare me at all. The last 20 years been in same ownership and the owner driven from Norway to Portugal. So I think with full mechanically restoration I think this will be great car to own.

    What are the specs on those challenge wheels? If they are the 360 racing challenge wheels they are 8" F and 10" rear and a bit narrow for a Maranello (8.5" F and 10.5" R OEM).

    Challenge wheels are off the car and OEM wheels are installed with Hill Engineering titanium bolts

    Im working on this with the guys I sent my interior to make 100% reproduction of carbon seats for 550 + 355 and 512M. In some small time will update you guys and maybe get some sponsorship on this great forum.

    So I think will go for Fiammenghi system:D but back exhaust will keep the current Koenig back exhaust.

    So for you guys that dont know Fiammenghi the owner Fabio is such a great guy, pure class. I got this pictures full Fiammenghi system catalyzed version + Double H pipes + mufflers. Now I wait on Zanasi for all interior of my car to get back.... + all suspension sent to Bilstein partner that will refurbish + make new FHP springs from the springs on my car.

    He certainly is! Not to mention an engineer and an artist!
    He made up these HGTC Exhaust Tips for me a couple of years ago for a Shotgun type Exhaust on a Beck Replica 356 Speedster Gentleman Outlaw, that should be here soon. There’s a 200 H.P stroker motor behind these. Should be a nice little bit of bling to go with the power.
