This poll is historic, crystal clear, and overwhelming, as I don't think it's ever happened with any other Ferrari model that 79% of voters said they would never buy it. It's also clear that 14% of voters would only buy the Elettrica for opportunistic reasons if slots were given to buy other models. However, the main conclusion is that, despite Ferrari's praise for the Elettrica's virtues, only 3.1% of voters say they like the idea of owning an electric Ferrari. This widespread disinterest in the Elettrica among current customers and Ferrari fans, in soccer terminology, can be considered a red card for Mr. Vigna. However, and believing Mr. Enrico Galliera's recent words, Ferrari will be extremely rigorous in selecting future candidates for the privilege of purchasing an Elettrica. "If it's not for you, maybe... you won't be invited. I'm not giving you the car (Elettrica) because it's not the car for you." With such a small base of potential buyers among those who have been loyal to the brand to date, perhaps for the first time in its history, Ferrari will be forced to select candidates for the Elettrica not from its own ranks but from those of other electric vehicle manufacturers. If so, the $1 million question may be how much these outsiders will be willing to pay to have an electric vehicle bearing the Cavallino emblem?
Probably many here have received the new poll by Ferrari themselves - they also ask about electric cars in it, so they will get direct feedback from their current "registered" customers.
