    Hi!

Heading to Durango for a 3 day weekend and want to make time for wellness.
    Hot Springs, massage therapy, etc...

This one keeps coming up, but not being there, it's hard to judge by a website:

I'm willing to drive for the right experience.... so, any locals or regulars have suggestions?

Sorry no one replied for you Steve, I have no good info for ya as I've spent zero time in that area. All I can say is hopefully you were able to enjoy it with the mass flooding going on in that part of the state

Thank you for your reply, we're not going until the end of this month, so there's still time.
It's always a good time, I just thought I would ask here in case anyone had a " must see " or " must do " while there.

I'll post photos afterwards, it will be fun no matter what.

Hopefully things clear up a bit better for ya then for sure. The furthest southwest in the state I've been is Gunnison for fishing, but I do know that if you want to trek just a bit north and simply check out Black Canyon of the Gunnison national park, it's a beautiful area. Otherwise, enjoy Durango my friend!

I've always enjoyed Pagosa Springs (about an hour away), but I've been told the hot springs there have gone a lot more upscale from days of old. Maybe that's what you're looking for? Used to be a cheap way to chase sore muscles after snowboarding at Wolf Creek - now it is a destination in and of itself.

There are, of course, also the "free" hot springs on the other side of the river.
