    Hi all,
I seem to be hitting 100% of the new Ferrari owner cliches:
Early 50s, Porsche guy (911, Cayenne GTS), kids are (mostly) out of the house and I can finally start checking things off the bucket list.
Just bought a 2013 California 30 HS (Grigio Silverstone) that I am about to pick up from a dealer 1000 miles away. I don't want to drive the 1000 miles in one day so will have to stay one night at a hotel. The Cali is no Enzo but I am not sure how I feel about leaving the car on a typical hotel parking lot overnight. I tried to find a hotel with secure garage parking but so far no luck. Any tips on how to travel with exotic cars?
    Thanks, Sebastian

Welcome aboard, and congratulations on the new ride. For me, my comfort level with overnight parking depends greatly on the location. Where would you be staying?

(There’s always the option of sleeping in the car overnight.)

Planning to probably stay somewhere in the Savannah area. I checked some of the higher-end hotels in that area but neither seemed to have garage parking.

Hmmm…. I don’t know the area; couldn’t offer advice on leaving the car out.
