I really like the back half and the wing (I still dream about drilling a functioning wing into the open gap on the Speciale). Not sure about the new retro-futurism look to the side intake, but it's better than the 849.
Given the privilege of a one-off, is it more likely Ferrari designated the 296 GTB as the available platform—rather than the client opting against the more track-focused 296 Speciale?
From my discussion with an SP owner, Ferrari offers the SP allocation to the customer but tells the customer which model will be the base.
I seem to recall watching a YouTube clip and it was about John Collins SP3JC and insisted on it being based on the TDF while they initially told him it was an F12 base
